ACE Language Centre’s Business English course is designed to keep Business-minded individual in view for their daily day to day business dealings within the company or outside the company who are looking to polish their English speaking and writing skills. This course will focus on the day to day business life and help to improve the learning.

Who is this course for?

This course is for working adults who are looking to improve their Business English for their day to day business activities such as dealing with the customers, meeting with the management, staff supervision. This particular course help business personnel to improve their below skills: • Reading, writing, listening, comprehension, speaking, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation; • Business and Operations terminology, report writing and presentation skills; • Business, Finance and marketing terminology, advertising and sales-pitch presentation skills; • Preparation for Cambridge BEC exam (Optional).

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, student will be able to communicate well in English covering all the Business part of the language. Students will be able to confidently present below skills and will be able to use in their daily business life that could help improve their status in the company as well. • Converse with customers, clients and co-workers in English • Solve business-related problems with a systematic approach • Write clear and concise e-mails, memos and letters in English • Understand the meaning and application of business-related vocabulary

Is Business English Certificate (BEC) for you?

The Business English Certificates (BEC) are internationally recognised qualifications that show employers your skills for using English in the workplace. BEC is an ideal English language exam if you are preparing for a career in business. There are three different levels of BEC: BEC Preliminary(Beginner) BEC Vantage(intermediate) and BEC Higher(Advanced). If your English language ability is sufficient for most simple communications, such as shopping, you may consider progressing towards BEC. You should have an understanding of, or interest in, the world of work, business and commerce.

During the course you will

• Complete a needs analysis to ensure your teacher knows what you want and need. • Take part in class activities, group work and pair work personalised to the needs of the group. • Use a coursebook appropriate to your level. • Use authentic resources such as journals, newspapers, videos and podcasts. • Learn new vocabulary and practice it in context.

  • Monday to Friday – 09:00 am to 12:00 pm (Group classes)
  • Monday to Friday – Any time (Individual classes)
  • Weekend classes are available on demand.
