Conversation English Course
This course (Conversation English Course) helps students to build on their knowledge and command of English. It aims to improve the students in all areas of the English language: vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Levels are designed to accommodate a range of students from those who have no English language knowledge to students that have basic, moderate, or advanced knowledge. Each student will be given a placement test to assess their English level and will be placed in the appropriate level accordingly.
Beginner to Advanced (A1 – C2)
– To help students develop their abilities in the four core skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as in the key areas of vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar;
– To improve students’ fluency and confidence in using English in a range of situations;
– To help students learn to meet all the challenges such as demands and expectations of living, studying and working in the UK
Students will cover various topics according to the level, for example, A1 students will study family, free time and shopping. In B2 level, students will study Education, media and films

Course content
The course is designed to inspire and prepare you for higher education.
There is a clear focus on academic writing and the teachers will cover a wide range of topics to help you research, take notes and develop your academic English. You will also explore university culture and expectations in the UK and develop your critical thinking skills.
The course content will change depending on the needs of the group, but you can expect to:
- Discuss and debate a wide range of topics to improve your fluency and accuracy
- Listen to talks and lectures and explore strategies for note-taking
- Read a wide range of academic texts such as articles, essays and reports
- Expand and explore your knowledge of academic vocabulary
- Be given tailored feedback on your academic written English.
